About A higher environmental contribution
The Malta Tourism Authority sets the environmental contribution at €1.50 per night for each guest aged 18 or over from 1 July 2026, with a maximum of €22.50 per person per visit. Your accommodation charges it separately from the room rate (mta.com.mt).
