The Silent City

About Mdina

Mdina, the old capital, stands on a ridge in the centre of the island, its walls looking out over the countryside. Inside are the cathedral, palazzi such as Palazzo Falson, and the National Museum of Natural History in Palazzo Vilhena. Visit Malta notes it played King’s Landing in Game of Thrones (visitmalta.com). Go in the evening, when the day visitors have left.
