MUŻA – The National Community Art Museum

MUŻA, from the Maltese word for muse, opened in late 2018 and succeeded the National Museum of Fine Arts. It occupies the Auberge d’Italie, built in the late sixteenth century for the Italian knights, and tells the story of art in Malta from Neolithic, Punic and Roman artefacts to the present (heritagemalta.mt). Tickets for the Underground Valletta tours are sold here too.
